Over the last 2 plus years I have been collecting images from most of the Zai Circle concerts. There has always been a question for me in how to display them because of the large diversity of musicians. However there is such a consistent thread and spirit throughout all of the conversations that I have always felt this would be lost on one or two shots taken out of context. When I decided to redo the Gallery, it seemed like a nice conceptual idea to make a montage of sorts that would show both the scope and range of players, but also show the consistency in "intent" of the conversations. I think this gallery gets to that place. What struck me in going back and pulling images is just how thankful and appreciative I am of all the amazing musicians who have been apart of this project from day one. Also a special thanks goes out to Jack Young for most of these beautiful images. His sensitive and artful eye really makes me hear each note again. Thank you Jack and thank you for spending some time with this wonderful collection of visual Dialogues. I hope you enjoy seeing them for the first time as much as I enjoyed revisiting them.
